Hello Marilyn, the manufacturer does not supply the type adapter you are asking for. This is a drain plumbing problem, not a washer problem, attempting to make the drain connection air/watertight will result in siphoning of the wash /rinse water tub fill and prematurely wear out the drain pump. According to the manufacturer's installation directions the standpipe for the washer's drain hose has to be able of carrying 17 gallons a minute flow rate. It is not uncommon to have house drain pipes connected to a washer's restrict due to a build-up of debris, soap residue, hard water, grease/oil, lint. You may want to contact a plumber for this as this condition usually just gets worse and the cure could be as simple as using a pour in drain cleaner or the pipe may need to be snaked out.
