Answer Eric, if the motor shaft is not rotating with the blower wheel, this would indicate that the blower wheel or motor shaft thread is stripped out and would need to be addressed. With a stripped out blower wheel, the wheel could be sheered from the thread block (it should be able to be pulled off of the thread block) and the thread block would need to be removed separately. If the motor shaft is rotating with the blower wheel, there is not enough tension being applied to stop the shaft from rotating or the motor pulley is loosening (if using the pulley to secure the motor shaft from rotating).
