Joe S. for Model Number LG8319W2 When installing the blower wheel on my motor, the shaft of the motor seems to have stripped - I can't hold back on the belt pulley. Did I break something inside the motor?
Answer Hi Joe. You'll need a 7/16 inch socket and an open end wrench for holding the motor shaft, "Remove Blower Wheel by placing a wrench on the rear of the Motor shaft and the nut on the Blower Wheel. Rotate counterclockwise to loosen."The blower wheel is part # 56000 is accessible by removing the blower housing cover. You Can use a deep well socket to reach in from the front and also use an adjustable wrench to hold the back of the belt / pulley wheel while loosening the fan assy. Thank you. Read More...
