Andrew for Model Number sde3606 Is there at update for this part? The reason I am asking is because oil-lite bearings like the one pressed into the idler pulley are not meant to work in a hot environment; right next to the dryer exhaust vent. There is oil impregnated in the bearing, but it will 'dry' out over time from the heat. If it starts to squeak apply a liberal amount of wheel bearing grease on the shaft and bearing surface.
Answer Hello Andrew! The bearing in the pulley has not been upgraded and does wear out over time. There is no way to grease the part more, due to it could catch on fire from the heat. It is the way the manufacture designed this machine. Hope this helps you, thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 12, 2012
