Howard, If the unit burns out the control board every time you put it in a self clean then you may want to look at the installation of the unit. You will want to check to make sure that the flooring inside the cabinet is solid per the installation instructions. The following is the exerpt that explains the support surface: Oven support surface must be solid, level and flush with bottom of cabinet cutout. Floor must be able to support a single oven weight of 123 lbs (55.8 kg) or a double oven weight of 222 lbs (100.7 kg). If these requirements are not met then it will cause an air flow issue that could be causing the control board to burn out from over temp.
