Jd for Model Number KT2651 Yes, the old motor gear, and crown gears were cleaned and re-lubricated with the installation of the new gear. We confirmed the old gear is 51 tooth and the new is 60. Ordered a new motor. The old motor is 8 t, while the new motor has a 10 t gear and works smoothly (quietly) with the new gear. The issue, the old 51t gear is not available, and the replacement gear is not compatible with the old motor. Solution, if replacing this gear, verify that you have a 60 t gear, if not, order a new motor.
