Tom for Model Number MMV4205BAS Can I ohm test magnatron,capacitor,or diode with ohm meter? Put in used magnatron 2 months ago, quit heating again. Also there wasn;t any spark across capacitor neither time.
Answer Hello Tom. The magnetron WPW10126786 should read less than 1 ohm, the diode should only read in one direction, and the capacitor should spike and slowly drop down to 0. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
