Joe for Model Number NGD7200TW10 I have an Amana NGD7200TW dryer that does not get hotter than 122F regardless of which temperature level is selected or whether on time or sensor dry. Temp measurement is based on what temp is displayed in diagnostic mode. All venting has been checked and cleaned. Dryer passes all diagnostic tests and no codes show. Have tested thermostat, thermistor, hi-limit, and gas valve coils. Replaced thermistor just to be sure. Still cannot get dryer to heat higher than what appears to be a 'low' temp level and clothes take an excessive time to dry - much longer than previously. I would appreciate any advice as to what to check further or what parts would be needed. Thanks.
Answer Joe, This issue with all the thermostats and thermistor checking ok would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board on the unit. The part number for the control board is WP35001153. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 29, 2016
