Jose for Model Number MDE9700AYW My Dryer will not turn on at all. I checked the breaker and they are not tripped, I also Checked for voltage using a multi-meter and getting good voltage to the dryer. The dryer just will not turn on at all no alarm no digital display it looks like it isn't getting any power so I beleive this is the replacement part its the first place the 220 goes my question is the backing of the circuit board on my dryer is metal. I do understand it may have changed I just do not want to buy the wrong part. Is this the part I need? I would greatly appreciate your input.
Answer Hello Jose. Check the terminal block on the unit and make sure it is not burned. If the terminal block is good, you will need to replace the Main control board WP35001153 on the unit.
