Daniel for Model Number MDE9700AZW I have the exact same problem ...The dryer was still able to operate (dry clothes) but it was buzzing like a rapid alram while the display was flashing. The only way to make it stop was to power off the dryer. Now the dryer won't power up at all. Is this what I should replace? How do I determine whicj component is faulty either the control panel/leypad assembly AP4045852 then the PCBAP4045210. Regards
Answer Hi Daniel. You're on the right track, But based on the post description, we suspect the control panel/keypad assembly 35001160 then the PCB WP35001153. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Thank You. Read More...
