James for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1 The washer seems as though the cycles aren't aligned with the tabs on the dial. For example, when put at the beginning of the heavy duty cycle it begins agitating as if there is water already in the washer. Also, during the spin cycle the clothes don't spin dry. Everything seems to work mechanically but not correctly. Any help is appreciated as this washer has not worked correctly from very close to the time of purchase.
Answer James, access the console components, check the wiring connections at water temperature switch WPW10248240 and the control WPW10104800 on the back of the timer. if there's no corrosion on the terminals, and all the connections are tight, replace the water temperature switch.
