Jateen P for Model Number LSQ9564JQ0 HI, Just recently at the start of the rinse cycle the agitator will stop and the timer shuts off before the water is able to drain, thereby leaving a drum full of water. If I tap or shake the control panel just after the timer shuts off, it will kick in and continue with the rest of the cycle (draining and spinning all of the water off). Sounds like a timer issue but do I also need to change the sensor? I don't think it is a lid switch issue but how can I test this? Thanks, -JP
Answer Jateen, The lid switch can be tested for continuity. When the lid is closed there should be continuity to the terminals of the lid switch. If there is continuity then the switch is good. Most likely based on the description the issue would be caused by a faulty timer. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 21, 2014
