Jt for Model Number Whirlpool/kenmore 11020912990 washer his is a follow question to this one previously asked. :Washer started running out of balance on spin cycle. Machine is level, the 4 springs, pressure plate and both sets of pads (all 8) have been replaced. The balance ring has no cracks/leaks and contains 50% solution fill. The rear spring connected to the base is intact, and not rusted. After replacing all these parts, machine is only slightly better during the spin cycle, but still vibrating too much and shaking the floor and walls. Any other repair options would be appreciated. I ran the machine with lid open and it appears the top of the tub is shifting back and forth more than the base during the spin. Drive block is in good condition. Thank you. My follow up question: The machine still shakes on the spin cycle even on a level cement floor, so I replaced the drive block, and still have no improvement. The only part I can think of that I have not replaced is the balance ring which has no leaks and is 50% full. Think that may be worth a try? Thank you, JT
Answer JT, Your washer tub doesn't have a balance ring ? it has a "complete" tub W10389328 / W10389328 . You may also need to recheck the base assembly 285771 / 285771 use a short straight edge tool and make sure the uprights and the lower and upper frames aren't bent or distorted. Read More...
