Ben for Model Number MAYTAG Neptune MAH5500AWW Thank you Mat for great C/S. I just popped out the rear bearing...outward. The front/inside bearing..after removing the plastic C-clip is refusing to budge. I'm hitting it from the rear...inward, is that right? How about the rubber seal kit over the bearing should it pop out together with the bearing? Do you carry it? Big TKS.
Answer Ben, In order to remove the bearing, the seal will need to be removed first. If you tap the bearing with a punch and work all the way around it, the bearing should come out.
