Rick for Model Number WFW8400TW02 Hello, I had a small leak during the drain/spin cycle only. Read several forums...contacted several repair services all pointed to door seal leaking. I replaced door seal and ran several cycles through machine. Still leaking...ugh. Seems to be leaking during the high speed drain and spin cycles. Can see water coming from bottom of concrete weight during those cycles. Reached up after finished and can feel water behind the " drain holes" on the bottom of the door seal. removed and replaced to make sure was installed correctly... still leaks... No other obvious leaks found. Any idea where the water can be coming from? I checked the entire machine even ran it with the covers off of it to check for other areas that may be leaking... nothing.... Any information will be greatly appreciated... thanks PS I checked the original door seal for leaks after I replaced with the new one and there were no leaks in the seal found...
Answer Rick, With the unit leaking from behind where the door seal sits and the weights then you will want to check the front of the outer tub for cracks. Pull the weights and the door boot and visually check for any location that could be leaking. Also make sure that you are getting the clamp tightened down properly. Read More...
