Chris for Model Number Admiral heavy duty super capacity dryer So far I have it apart and the drum out. The pulley on the motor has come off and it looks like it was screwed onto the motor shaft. The inside of the pulley has what look like stripped out threads. It has part number (?) 754305 on the end that looks like a nut. The other end looks like a bowl with a hole in the middle and I'd guess that goes toward the motor but I don't know. It was laying on the bottom of the dryer. I need to know if it is actually supposed to be threaded on or not. I have checked the rollers in the back and they both turn pretty freely assuming they have bushings and not bearings. If they have rolling bearings then they probably need replacement as well. What say you? I'm going to do some major vacuuming before I reassemble. The dryer is at least 12 years old and has been amazingly trouble free.
Answer Hello Chris. No, that is part of the motor. If it is bad, you will need to replace the motor. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 26, 2017
