John for Model Number GR9FHTXVQ00 The freezer in my refrigerator works fine, but the refrigerator does not maintain a cold enough temperature. Took everything apart in the freezer, saw that the unit had a lot of frost buildup on the coils, and the chute down to the refrigerator was a little frozen on the inside of the down chute, so cleaned it out, shut the unit down and let it defrost. Put everything back together, everything seems to be working fine, fan spins, but there is not a strong flow from the freezer to the refrigerator. Could this be the fan motor, or are there other parts that could be causing this? The fan motor spins, but it does not seem to spin with great speed or power? Also, what should be the ideal temperatures inside the freezer, and inside the refrigerator? Many thanks.
Answer Hello John, The fan motor should run strong so it could be a factor. The manufacturer recommends 0°F to 10°F in the freezer compartment and the fresh food compartment is recommended to run from 35°F to 38°F. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 30, 2014
