Hello Gary, You should remove the rear wall of the freezer to observe the frost pattern. If the frost is only at the top or where the Freon lines enter the freezer evaporator compartment, the issue will be a low Freon charge. If the frost is only on top of the evaporator coils, the issue will be air circulation and the evaporator fan motor and damper should be checked. If the frost begins in the center or bottom of the evaporator coils, you will have a sealed system restriction. Any issue pertaining to the sealed system will require a Freon certified technician due to the laws concerning the handling of Freon set forth by the EPA.
