Ken M for Model Number G9CE3065XS I've ordered a Whirlpool G9CE3065XS electric cooktop to replace an existing gas cooktop and and I would like to pre-wire while waiting for delivery. Unfortunately, no one at Whirpool seems to know if it requires a three-wire or four-wire connection. Are you aware of what that cooktop requires? Thanks!
Answer Ken, You could use a 3 or 4 wire power supply. The terminal block has 3 connectors with a grounding strap. If you have a power supply with a ground then the grounding strap would connect to the center terminal which is your neutral. The other 2 wires go to the outside. Read More...
