Darcy I have a Whirlpool Gold wall oven/microwave combo. When I begin preheating the oven the blower fan is supposed to kick on and stay on until the oven is cooled off after I have finished baking. Our blower fan doesn't come on right away. There is a funny noise that could be the fan trying to work, but the fan doesn't kick in and sound normal until usually around or just after the oven is completely preheated. I am wondering if you think the blower needs to be replaced or maybe it is a temperature sensor malfunction? Thank you for your help!
Answer Darcy, Normally there will be a limiter on the unit that will close and allow power to the fan. This limiter could be faulty but it sounds like the cooling blower would be the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 24, 2017
