Martin for Model Number GB2SHTXTQ00 I have recently purchased this board but am having difficulty accessing the old one to replace it. The directions that I have found are for other models and do not seem to work for the appliance that I have. Can you please advise me on how to remove the overlay and housing to reach the control board on model GB2SHTXTQ00? Thank you!
Answer Martin, You will want to remove the light shield in the refrigerator compartment. Once removed look on the back side and find a opening on either side of the back and use a flat blade screwdriver and push straight into the hole. There is a clip that you will be pushing to release the control housing. You will only have to push in on one side at a time and will need to release both sides. Read More...
