Tom for Model Number Maytag / Amana ABB2227DEW Compressor stopped working after brief power failure a few days ago. Lights, fans run, but compressor is hot and will not start. Slight burn noticed on electrical plug connection to starter realy. Is there a way to bench test the starter relay to see if that is the problem, before taking a gamble on replacing a rather expensive electronic control board?
