Marc B for Model Number GB2FHDXWS03 Had a problem 4 months ago with the coil freezing solid. Opened the back of the Freezer Compartment and did a resistance check on the defrost heater and it checked out to be OK. I then replaced the Defrost switch and the unit ran fine for 4 months. It frosted up again so I opened it up and the heater checked out OK. Is there something other than the defrost switch that activates the defrost heater?? (eg defrost timer or control board).
