Daniel for Model Number gx5fhtxvy03 I ran the programming mode test on my jazz board and it came up correctly like on the label as software #12. I then put the jazz board into service test mode and it's supposed to display the software version for 3 seconds but it displays the number 14. Does that mean for sure the board is bad?
Answer Hello Daniel, 14 is the software version, not the program code, (which you said was 12 on the nits' I.D. tag). If this is the only problem noted, there is most likely no problem with the unit.
