Mr. Jim for Model Number Kenmore # 596.67992606 I have purchased the control board #W10503278. I got the instructions to do this in the question and answer section for this part. When I installed it and tried the programming procedure. At step 3 I get 5 - H instead of P- E on the displays. Is this an error code or am I doing something wrong ?
Answer Mr. Jim, It sounds like you may be doing something wrong. When you push the keypad make sure that you are hitting the freezer temperature down key and not the refrigerator temperature down key. This appears to be what is going on. Read More...
