Pmh for Model Number MFF2558VEM5 My ice maker stopped working. I replaced it and it made one tray of ice but then quit working. I checked for power to the ice maker and no power. I am thinking that this is an issue with the frig control board. I was getting clicking from the fridge and though it was the ice maker motor but the clicking is not coming from the freezer section. What do you think?
Answer PMH, Check the temperature in the freezer to make sure that it is between 0 and 5 degrees. Also, when testing the icemaker power, make sure that the light switch is pushed in. If there is clicking then check to see if the noise is coming from the start device on the compressor as this would cause higher temperatures. Read More...
