Valerie for Model Number GEW9200LL1 Replaced the heating element - purchased it from you. Unable to get the heater box to properly seat with the air duct. Upon inspection, the section of the heater box closest to the air duct has been intentionally misshapen - assumed to have happened by previous owner/repair tech. Noted accumulation of dryer lint at base of air duct when heater box removed - probably was not seated correctly for a long time. Actually, back end of heater box dropped as soon as I started to remove heating element cover plate. Now, I am unable to properly seat the heater box. What are my options? The heater box for my dryer has been discontinued from the manufacturer per your web site.
Answer Hello Valerie. The only option you have is trying to repair the duck on the unit or purchase a new dryer. You can try reforming the sheet metal on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 24, 2015
