Ron for Model Number GEW9200LW1 Like others, on my Whirlpool Duet it has stopped heating. I want to remove the heater box so I can easily test the continuity of the element and thermostats. I remove the front screw and the box feels lose but cannot remove it. From the other questions, there appears to be a tab in the back holding it in place. Is that true? If so, what is the proper way to move the heater box to free the back tab so it can be removed?
Answer Hello Ron. Lift upward as far as you can and then pull forward to release the tab in the back of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 3, 2017
