Jo O. Could this be used with a front loading washing machine to help prevent it from moving during the spin cycle? Thanks
Answer Hello Jo, This would not be advisable since the machine will not move if operating properly. You need to check the tub support springs, the shocks, and the tub weights if the unit is properly leveled with the leveling leg lock nuts locked against the bottom of the base. Also, if the washer and dryer are not touching one another and a glass of water on the dryer shows movement, this is motion transferred through the floor. A weak floor is not satisfactory for a front load washer since the apply about 80% more force on the floor than a top load machine does. The machine will have to be moved if the floor cannot be re-enforced in this case. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 21, 2014
