Tim for Model Number Kenmore series 80 washer I have a Kenmore series 80 washer that I have just changed the drive clutch on. While the washer now spins again I still seem to have a problem. Whenever the washer comes out of a spin cycle it sounds like someone is hitting it with a hammer. The noise stops when the drum stops. New brake shoes maybe?
