H1832 for Model Number MDBH965AWB The lower washer arm (when running) is apparently hitting the 2 metal brackets that are over the heating element. It just started doing this all of a sudden and makes a lot of noise when running. Haven't taken the cap off yet but it sure is on tight! Even so, the washer arm has a lot of sway to it, alowing it to hit the brackets. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
Answer Hi. Remove the wash arm cap part # WP99002654 and observe the wash arm itself part # WP6-917642. If it is bent sloping down then it will engage the heater part # W10283681. Is the heater clipped into the brackets of the tub ? If it warped then you will need to replace it. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 6, 2012
