Don for Model Number Kenmore 110/9203120 Just replaced the motor coupling on my washer with parts and guidance from you and your website. Thanks. Now I have another problem. It worked fine for about 5-6 washes then it would fill but do nothing else. I tested the capacitor according to instructions from the internet and it appeared to be good so I put it back together and it worked fine thru a wash, spin and fill then it would not agitate, spin or drain. The lid switch appears to be working. When the lid is closed it hums which tells me it is trying to work. My first question is: is it possible for the capacitor to work intermittently, or are there two capacitors (a start and a run)? My second question is: is it possible I have reversed the wires on the capacitor and caused this problem. My third question is: if you do not think any of these are the problem do you have another answer. Thank you for your attention
Answer Don, I would have to think you may have a bad contact in the timer, based on the info you supplied. miswiring a capacitor does not normally create the issue you're describing. You may want to re check the wiring to the motor, and to the capacitor from the timer. Thanks and Good Luck. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, August 10, 2011
