Travis for Model Number 110 25132411 I ran the diagnostic mode, it came back with a lid switch fault and basket speed sensor fault. The spin basket spins just fine by itself. I replaced the lid lock and the shift actuator. The washer only hums when it tries to agitate or spin. Would this be a capacitor problem?
Answer Travis, with the power cord unplugged, the drive belt would need to be removed and the motor pulley rotated by hand. If it does not rotate freely, the motor W11283592 would need to be replaced. If it does rotate freely, the run capacitor W11395618 would be a possible cause of failure and once it has discharged, it can be tested for 50 uf. If it does not have the correct measurement, the capacitor would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 21, 2023
