Karen for Model Number Aocs3040ww The oven will not turn on. The panel on the right side where the oven on button is, is not working but the left side where the clock is, is working. Would this be the part that I would need, or is there a simpler soultion?
Answer Hello Karen. Test and see if there is power coming to the relay board when the oven is on. If so, and the board does not power the elements, you will need to replace the relay board WPY0309305. If there is no power to the relay board, then the clock 31746801 is bad and will need to be replaced. If the clock is not going into bake on the display, when the selector button is pressed, then the membrane switch 31861402W is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
