Hello Iris. Make sure the lock feature is not turned on the control board. If not, you will want to remove the top of the washer and check for loose connections on the control board and the user interface. Unplug the machine while doing this and leave it unplugged for at least 30 minutes. If the problem still exist, you will need to replace the user interface W10319816. Hope this helps.
