Melissa Wtw4800xq2 model whirlpool washer, purchased in 2012 from sears. It fills like normal, begins first round of agitation, then just stops and sits there full of water. I had to cancel the wash and select drain and spin just to get the clothes out if the machine without being dripping wet. I was told by a 'repairman' that the timer was bad. What are your suggestions
