Answer

Hi Larry. This is an odd issue. You need to use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to see if you have a balanced 240 house supply voltage at the unit terminal block. You need to have 240 vac (or close- 238vac) between the outer 2- terminals (of the 3). Then you need to check each outer leg to the middle terminal post. You need 120 vac at both sides to the middle neutral terminal. If you are low (234vac) or higher (245) then you have a incoming voltage issue and need to get the electric co. involved. If you do not, then you need to check if the units cord is tight at the terminal or if any wires going to the clock are burnt or loose. You need to have clean, tight connections everywhere. If you can see that your residence is at the end of a electric trunk line then you can be susceptible to power surges. You may need the power Co. to install a whole house surge protector. Have an electrician check the home breaker panel to see if the incoming voltage is fine. Look at all the wiring to the elements. Make sure the clock mount brackets are allowing the clock to be installed to the front of the control panel tight. Make sure there are no gaps where any wiping residue (water , debris) into the clock and shorting it. There is no repair station that I know of , particularly clock circuitry. There may be one but then again cost just as much as the new one with warranties. Clock Part # W10840298. Please let me know how to help if needed.
