  • Drives the display and interprets keypad inputs from the control panel
  • Common symptoms: won't start or heat, blank/unresponsive display, error codes/beeping, erratic temperature or cycle behavior

Ray P for Model Number JES9750BAS

This was my original question: My oven will not maintain the set temperature. If I set it to 375, it will reach 375 in a reasonable amount of time then it will slowly cool off. It seems to never call for heat to maintain a constant temperature. Any ideas? Thanks. Based on your response, I ordered and installed the temperature sensor. That did not solve the problem so I ordered and installed a control panel. That didn't solve the problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Answer

Ray, You will want to check the continuity of the wires between the wire harness and the control board to make sure that they are good. Also check to see what the average temperature of the oven is and see if it may just need to be calibrated.
