Bill G for Model Number rbd245pdb14 How can you check the voltage at the control board to make sure its not the thermal fuse, which termernals do you check for 220 voltage on and what colot are the wires on the thermal fuse, so if you got 220 volts going to the board that means the board is bad and the thermal fuse is ok, also is there anything that could be bad besides the fuse and the control board that would make the oven not work and the display not light up? thank you
Answer Hello Bill. You will need to test P24-3 and P16-1 ground. You should see 120 volts there. If not, the thermal fuse WP4451042 is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is 120 volts there, you will need to replace the control board WPW10438751. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
