Jack for Model Number gbd307pdt09 had a smell then the display went black buttons seamed to work but some just beep. I see a brown spot on control panel part 8302319 had work done on when first got it and they replace this panel. turned out to be something different so now I have a new one on hand. I placed it in and got smell and some error code. cut power at breaker box before I could read the display. any idea. brown on upper right looking from back at r189 or a d73 area. thank you
Answer Hello Jack. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board WPW10438751 and the control panel is bad and will need ot be replaced on the unit. If the board was bad, and you hooked up a new control panel to the board, it may have damaged the new control panel as well. Read More...
