Tracy J for Model Number Whirlpool Double Ovens RBD275PDS14 We purchased the Whirlpool double ovens when we were building our house 7 years ago. In the past few months the oven will beep randomly several beeps and nothing will be displayed on the digital key pad. When nothing is displayed the oven will not respond at all when buttons are pressed. However, it will randomly beep again and the message E6 F2 will appear and the oven may work for a period of time. After researching this problem on line, we ordered and replaced the keypad 1 month ago and the oven was working fine. However, this past week the same problem started again with the random beeps, E6 F2 message and the oven working some and not working some. My question is should I now purchase and replace the other part (control board)? Is this part easy to replace? My father and husband installed the keypad..... so aggravated with it all!
Answer Hello Tracy, The keypad is not making good contact with the control board. You may want to make sure that the cooling fan is running and check the connector on the control is good. If this checks ok then you would want to replace the control board WPW10438751. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 2, 2013
