Joe G for Model Number GU1100XTLQ1 I plan to replace the finish to stainless steel on the door panel, and the console assembly with a black finish (since stainless steel is not available). Two questions: (1) How difficult is it to replace the console assembly? (2) Is it recommend that I replace the console protective cover (can't remember the exact part name) when I'm replacing the console assembly?
