William Hosick for Model Number MCG8000AWW A repairman damaged the ribbon on the inside of the consol while working on the dryer. He misaligned a screw and ripped the edges of both ribbons. It appears that two connectors on each ribbon are cut through. Since this consol is no longer available, is it possible to repair the damaged ribbons? Is there a service where I can send the consol to have the ribbons repaired? My wife loves this dryer with the electric feature on top, but I can find nothing like it if I have to replace. The bottom gas dryer works fine.
