Joe for Model Number MLE2000AYW washer will shut off during rinse cycle. press start button and washer starts up. will shut off again during spin cycle, press start and washer finishes cycle. door lock light does come on. have run washer with no clothes in it and washer runs through complete cycle.
Answer Joe, With that complaint and description, the first thing to do is remove the fill hoses and clean the debris screens in the fill valve and hoses. If the washer isn't filling properly, and the pressure switch doesn't show the control a "closed" circuit the washer will shut down, when the eeprom sends out it's data check circuit (approximately 10 to 15 minutes into the cycle).
