Rh for Model Number KSCS25INSS01 Thank you for answer to previous question . I do have 120volts AC to my inverter and no 230 volt out to compressor posts but this is strange only 40 VOLTS line to ground at compressor lead. The inverter is a new unit. Is the red and white connector at the inverter some type of control or what? Please Advise Thanks R.H. Please Advise Thanks R.H.
Answer Hi R.H. Make sure your unit is in cooling mode. Then check the inverter red/white and red wires for 3 - to - 6 vdc. Check P7-3 (red) and P7-8 (red/white) on the main control board for 3-to-6 vdc. If the voltage is not present, replace the main control board. If there is voltage, then unplug or disconnect the unit. Disconnect the wire connector at the compressor. Set your ohm meter to Rx1 scale. Touch the meter leads on any two pins. You should have a reading of 9 to 10 ohms. Check between all three sets of pins to test all three windings. Touch one meter lead to compressor (green) ground and test all three pins to see if the compressor is grounded. If so then the compressor is either bad from improper ohms, or shorted to ground. The compressor part # is 8201675. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 22, 2011
