Susan for Model Number MEDE300VF0 I have a Maytag 3000 Series Dryer that just stopped working, it gets power but will not turn on. All lights and sounds were working even clock counting down etc BUT I ordered Part Number AP4373582 (W10174745) from AppliancePartsPro.com,Inc. and switched out the Electric Control Board exactly the way it was on the old board (except on the right side of board is configured a little differently) after the switch I plugged the dryer back in and turned on but now no lights on and flashes F70 grrrr have no idea what to do now please advise. So I did order the thermal fuse just to try. Any Suggestions??? Please & Thank You Also checked lint screen. Lint was built up at the end of outdoor exhaust completely cleaned that out and also indoor vent and inside dryer etc. Because I had noticed a few days before the dryer stopped working that when I used the touch up selection which is a 15 min cycle it got really HOT more than normal not sure if any of these things are the reason for problem but again please advise ASAP. Thanks Again!!
Answer Susan, The F70 is a no communication error. With this error you will want to check the connections between the control boards. Make sure that there is no damage. If this checks ok then you may want to try another board as it sounds like the board may be faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 7, 2014
