  • Distributes power to key components to execute each step of the cycle
  • Common symptoms of failure: won't start, won't advance/complete cycles, or stops mid-cycle
  • Also causes intermittent operation or fault/error codes
Includes: 1 electronic control board Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; use proper ESD precautions
  • Location varies by model
  • Photograph wiring and move connectors one at a time to the new board
  • Secure the board, reassemble panels, restore power, and run a test cycle

Answer

Jimmy, This is what I found for your error: F9E2 - When the connection between the pump and the Central Control Unit (CCU) is lost during cycle drain. Cause/Solution - Make sure that all wire harness connections at the Drain Pump & CCU (DP2 cavity) connectors are not broken or with wires detached, and that connector internal pins are visible. - Check continuity from the Drain Pump & CCU (DP2 cavity) connectors. - If the continuity diagnosis failed, the Main Harness must be replaced. Check the resistance of the motor pump. - If the above does not correct the problem, - check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. - Disassemble the drain pump from the washer. - Check that the impeller is not detached from the motor shaft. If the impeller is detached from the shaft, is broken, or has any scratches, the drain pump must be replaced.
