Fran for Model Number KECD805H How do you remove a counter glass cooktop to replace a heating element. I am a female trying to do this myself to save money. Thanks so much for your help
Answer Hello Fran. The cooktop will lift out of the counter top. You will need to disconnect the power. The lift out the cooktop. Once removed, You will remove the switch knobs, and screws securing the glass top 4455586 to the burner box. Lift of the top and replace the element. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
