Answer Greg, There are one of 2 ways to go about this. The first would be just to thread the new coupler in place and leave the old one on which the ice will work doing it this way. The other is to remove the auger housing and then wedge the coupler with screwdrivers and then using a hammer tap it until it re-threads on the auger motor shaft.
