Jim for Model Number Maytag MSD2655HES We recently noticed water in the bottom of the ice bin. After watching the ice maker cycle, I noticed water overflowing from the area around the fill cup assembly after the ice is ejected form the ice maker. Do I need a new fill cup or is something wrong with the water valve? If it's the water valve, what is the part number?
Answer Hello Jim. You need to check the hole in the bottom of the fill cup and see if the hole is clogged with ice. If so, clear it out and see if that resolves the issue.
